Homework due Friday 27th June (Week 8)

• Science – all pupils have just begun a scientific research project on a subject of their choice.  They have been asked to use a 'google doc' to save all information so that this can be used at home and at school.
• Walking sheets due Wednesday
• Rain jackets must come in to school before Friday of week 9 for checking
• Art homework for Thursday
• Studyladder x 2 this week
• Math a thon - revision for Friday's test
• Spelling words to be learnt for Wed
• Disco – Wed night $5 per ticket.  Official permission forms muct be used
• Hangi - Fri $7 to be paid to front office by Thursday

Homework due Week 7 (Friday 20th June)

• Speeches are the order of the week so all other homework will stay on hold.  Speeches are to be performed on Thursday. All speeches should be between 2.50 - 3.10 mins long (min & max times)
• Math-a-thon practise for Friday
• $5 for science experiment
• Mt Robert reply letters by Friday (payment can come later if wished)
• Rain jackets to school at earliest convenience for checking

I will post a copy of the math-a-thon and Mt Robert letter on the class blog.  Check with your child which math-a-thon they are completing.  All pupils do have a master copy of this in their achievement files which they should be taking home each week.

• As our crosscountry race is on this Friday, I thought I'd post a picture of people doing a similar event. Thank goodness you won't be running through any water on your event.  What do you think is going through the minds of these people - think of those running as well as those watching :)  Dont forget to give your writing a title.
