ICAS Exams

Applications have just come out for the upcoming International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS)

You may wish for you child to participate in one or all of these exams. The dates are as follows;

Computer Skills - 25 May ($7.50)
Science - 9th June ($7.50)
Spelling - 22nd June ($9.50)
Writing -22nd June ($17.50)
English - 3rd August ($7.50)
Mathematics - 17th August ($7.50)
All of the above - ($57.00)

All pupils may get a permission slip from school which should be returned (with payment) to the student centre before 20th April

• Learn list 4 words for Thursday
• Check email for google doc. Add under 'looks like' 'feels like' 'sounds like' headings and post back, at present only 5 pupils have done this!! It simply needs to be saved and then closed.
• Tomorrow when the world began reading group - read up to page 190 and complete 1/2 page summary in reading book for Monday (week 8)
• Holes reading group - read up to page 159 and complete 1/2 page summary in reading book for Monday (week 8)
• Reply letters for museum visit to be returned - still awaiting 10 pupils
• Outstanding money for Whenui Iti to be handed in
• Money for photographs due by 26th
